For years I built a successful career in corporate America, mastering the art of strategic planning, leadership development, operational efficiency and the delicate task of managing the human resources of an organization. But something was lacking. My soul lacked passion and meaningful impact. I wanted to focus on people, on communities, and use my skills for causes that truly needed support and compassionate leadership.
That drive led me to co-found Mayhem's Home for Wayward Animals, where I took on the role of volunteer founding director. Using my corporate expertise, I began helping this non-profit strengthen their operations, secure funding, and expand their reach. I see first hand how many mission-driven organizations are struggling with limited resources, despite having solid potential to create impactful changes.
In 2024, the nonprofit I volunteer with doubled it's impact- expanding their reach beyond crisis rescue to provide free/low cost spay and neuter services to low income families and domestic violence survivors. Proving that with the right strategy and good stewardship even small organizations can create big changes. But I knew I could do more.
That's why I started Catalyst for Change Consulting, to help bridge the gap between passion and sustainability in the nonprofit sector.
